The main achievements of this project are the configuration of a Strong Ground Motion Data Bank, where acceleration time-histories and spectra from all over the world (and specially from Spain and the Mediterranean basin) were compiled and organised. This was complemented with a database containing all the seismological information and a program for accelerogram processing.

At the same time, a methodology based on the statistical analysis of accelerograms was developed  to deduce ground motion models suitable for Spanish sites. The project concluded with an application in the Almaraz NPP, where site-specific response spectra were calculated.
