The project aims at reevaluating seismic hazard in Madrid province and at estimating expected effects on wind turbines. These are infrastructures of special importance which combined analyses (seismolgical and structural) is somewhat innovative, at least in this study area.

Special attenntion will be paid to the rotational component of the seismic action and its influence on the intensity measures characterising the performance of the wind turbine and the definition of a representative intensity measure onto the fragilty curves.
