The general objective of the RISNA Project is the seismic risk evaluation of the Region of Navarre, which is the base for the Special Plan of Civil Protection against Earthquake Risk. Risk is estimated in terms of different damage parameter estimates that combined with exposed population and building data show the municipalities with higher relative risk.  Expected damage is evaluated from the vulnerability distribution of each municipality and the expected seismic ground motion for the 475-year return period.
