Iran is located in an area with a high seismic activity and today, 16 April, at 10.44 hours (GMT) it has occurred an earthquake of magnitude 7,8 in Irán. Iranian government fears hundreds deads.

According to the EFE agency at least 40 persons have already died. The earthquake was also felt in other neighbor countries like La India or Pakistan, in this last one other 5 persons have dead.

The head of the Iranian Red Crescent has authorized to send 20 rescue teams to the affected area and 3 helicopters to monitor the damage.
