Researchers from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME) have used spatial geodesy techniques - such as the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Inferometric Radar (InSAR) - to create a methodology to estimate faults and volcanoes that can be activated in a region after the occurrence of an earthquake.
